In June 1936 in the UK began mass production of carrier-based torpedo bomber "honest, Yes, I". The following month, they entered service with the first squadron of naval aviation. After the outbreak of world war II "svordfishi" participated in convoy operations, protected ships from submarines, acted as torpedo. However, since 1941, the outdated aircraft was reoriented only to solve the problems of anti-submarine defense. In this capacity they served until the end of the war. It was built in 1112 aircraft "honest, Yes, I".
