multi-purpose aircraft "Lysander" was manufactured in the UK from April 1938 in three main versions. The first combat use of these machines took place during the fighting in France in 1940, where "Lysander" acted as gunships and scouts. Then they fought in North Africa and Burma, and since September 1941 were used to throw agents and cargo in the rear of the Germans. Aircraft available in the Finnish air force, participated in hostilities since July 1941
