Bell P-39 Aircobra was one of the main fighters in service of the United States by the beginning of world war II. The aircraft was built by Bell Aircraft Corporation and made its first flight in April 1939 years. The peculiarity of the aircraft was the unusual location of the engine, it was located in the rear, behind the pilot. In total, 9 584 units were built, more than half of them were sent to the USSR under the lend-lease program.
