MiG 23 - speed interceptor with variable sweep wing (sweep wing of this model is also changeable). It can be used to defeat ground targets. Development began in 1964, the first flight of the prototype took place in June 10, 1967, in 1970 entered service in the Soviet air force. In total, more than 5,000 aircraft were built before the end of production in the late 80s. A large number of built units contributed to the export of the aircraft outside the Soviet Union. MiG 23MF was the export version of the MiG-23M, intended for the countries of the Warsaw Pact.
