the Tank was adopted by the red Army in 1940 and was a modification of the KV-1, designed to combat long-term firing points. The prototype, released in February 1940, took part in the war with Finland and proved itself on the positive side. KV-2 was armed with a very powerful 152-mm gun M-10, mounted in a high armored turret of circular rotation.
