the German 88mm Pak 43 was one of the most powerful anti-tank weapons of the second world war. It was created on the basis of 88-mm anti-aircraft gun FlaK 41. Guns of this type first appeared on the battlefields in 1943, and their serial production continued until the end of the war. There were manufactured 3502 such guns. The PaK 43 also served as the basis for the KwK 43 tank gun and the StuK 43 self-propelled artillery (SAU) gun.
