From may 1938 to August 1939, Daimler-Benz and MAN produced 143 light t-II tanks of modifications D and e for the tank battalions of the Wehrmacht's light divisions. These tanks differed from the previous modifications in the chassis, which had four large support rollers without support rollers, and a modified hull. The tower with weapons has not changed. T-II modifications D and E took part in the first campaigns of the Second world war.
