Additional Information
the First attempt of Germany to build a heavy tank was Neubau-Fahrzeug (literally, the machine of a new design), the design of the tank was too heavy for effective use in the tactic of "blitzkrieg". Five tanks were produced, three of which were used (for propaganda purposes) in Norway in 1940. The main turret armament consisted of 7.5cmKwKL/24 and 3.7cmKwKL/45. Two small towers were equipped with machine-gun weapons. Although this spectacular tank was good for propaganda, the combat value of the machine remained low. By 1942, all tanks of this type were scrapped.
