the 600mm Karl mortar (Karl) is a German self-propelled mortar from The second world war. In 1934, the Department of arms of the land forces issued a task to the industry to develop a heavy artillery gun capable of destroying or, at least, disabling a concrete fortification object with an overlap of up to 900 mm.
