the Most massive and perfect armored vehicle of the French army was AMD-35. The vehicle was developed by Panhard as a cavalry reconnaissance vehicle.
Serial production began in 1934. The car has received the name of Panhard 178. The car had all-wheel drive, and the engine in the rear of the body. As the main weapon used 25mm anti-tank gun. Before 1940, 551 machines were manufactured. Panhard 178 participated in the fighting in the spring of 1940. The German army managed to capture more than 200 vehicles, which were included in the army under the designation Panzerspähwagen P 204 (f).
