Tiger II is the generic name of the German heavy tank of world war II. The final official German designation was Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf, often shortened to Tiger B. the Designation of the ammunition inventory was Sd.Kfz. 182. It is also known by its unofficial name Königstiger (the German name for the Bengal tiger), often translated literally as the Royal tiger. Tiger II was the successor of Tiger I. the Tank weighed almost 70 tons, and was protected from 100 to 185 mm armor. He was armed with a long barrel antitank gun 8.8 cm KwK 43 L / 71.
