the AB 43 armored Vehicle evolved from the AB 40 and 41 models. The AB 43 had an enlarged turret with a 20 mm Breda 35 gun and an 8 mm machine gun. The machine has never been used by the Italian army, as production began only in 1943, under the control of Germany occupied the Italian industry since September 1943.  This machine was used by many German units on the Italian front.  Especially widely used in the Northern regions of the country, where there was a strong guerrilla movement. Some of the surviving vehicles were used by the police after the war.
