Opel Blitz was widely used by the German army on all fronts of the Second world war. Several thousand of these machines were manufactured. In addition, they were used as platforms for air defense guns, tanks, workshops and sanitary machines. The car was reliable, easy to maintain and had good off-road terrain, which was especially important on the Eastern front and in North Africa.
