Thanks to the high quality of the motorcycles could be used in a military purpose on various fronts, the sidecar even had the equipment for heating of the hands and feet of the passenger which was very useful on the Eastern front. Zündapp was delivered to all units, only after 1943, the motorcycles were replaced with four-wheeled transport.
