the Need to protect armored vehicles from enemy aircraft pushed the British to create a self-propelled gun armed with 40 mm Bofos. The gun was located on the chassis of the Crusader tank, outdated by the end of 1943. Calculation tools was located in the tower, providing the necessary protection. Some of these air defense weapons were used during the invasion of France, following the landing in Normandy, however, from the air superiority of the Allies, Crusader AA if it participated in the fighting is extremely limited.
