the M8 Greyhound was the standard us army intelligence vehicle in Europe in the second half of 1944, actively used by the free French forces during the liberation of its territory. A characteristic feature of the car are futuristic for its time view and high mobility. At the same time, the car had a lack of booking and weapons to combat enemy tanks. The open tower did not provide sufficient protection for the team. After world war II, Greyhound was used by many European armies.
