Attempts to strengthen the protection of the tank led to the appearance of a modification of "Ausfuhrung G"at the end of 1942. The designers knew that the weight limit, which is able to withstand the chassis, has already been selected, so I had to go to a compromise - to dismantle the 20-mm side screens, put on all "four", starting with the model "E", while increasing the base armor of the body to 30 mm, and due to the saved weight to install in the frontal part of overhead screens with a thickness of 30 mm.
