Additional Information
The Cromwell tank was one of the series of cruiser tanks fielded by Britain in the Second World War. The Cromwell tanks were the first vehicles in service of the British Army that combined high speed—from a reliable Rolls-Royce Meteor engine—with reasonable armor. An excellent combination for reconnaissance work in the field. But in other respects, the tank was so inferior to both enemy and allied vehicles that the USSR even refused to accept it under the Lend-Lease program. This scale model is interesting due to its unusual winter camouflage, washed off from the entire hull, but still remaining on the turret. Added tow chains to the front plate and added a Union Jack on the turret serve as icing on the cake! The model itself is built from a completely self-sufficient Tamiya kit, scale 1:35. Painting was done with Tamiya acrylic paints, weathering effects were applied using various AMMO, MIG, AK Interactive products. Splashes and stains of dried mud are visible on the chassis, and overall the tank looks a little shabby, as if it has seen some war in his days.Related Products
