Additional Information
MIM-14 "Nike-Hercules" is an American anti-aircraft missile system. The world's first long-range anti-aircraft missile system and the world's first complex with a nuclear warhead. Adopted by the US Army in 1958 to replace the previous Nike-Ajax air defense system. The peculiarity of the model is that such a machine has never existed, even in the form of a project. But as a thought experiment, it has the right to live. The main thing is that the model looks bright and powerful! In modeling, this branch is called “What If?”. The M1 Abrams tank kit was taken as a basis (Tamiya kit, 1/35 scale), the turret replaced with a cover with a hatch and a machine gun mount, and behind it a launcher with a missile was mounted (the missile launcher itself is from Freedom Model Kits). Painting was done with Tamiya acrylic paints, weathering effects were applied using various AMMO, MIG, AK Interactive products. The tank is painted in standard NATO camouflage. All colors and indiv style="display:none"ions are made as authentic as possible, although in general they are a figment of the imagination. Traces of use are simulated; streaks of dust and dirt are visible on the tank.Related Products
