Dingo ATF is a German armored vehicle manufactured by the Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, adopted by the Bundeswehr in 2003. The hull of the armored vehicle is made of special sorts of armor steel and composite materials, which provide protection from small arms fire, shell fragments, anti-personnel, anti-tank mines and improvised explosive devices. The ATF “Dingo” armored vehicle is created on a Unimog 4x4 chassis and is capable of overcoming difficult terrain, reaches a speed of 90 km/h, and can travel up to 1000 km on one refueling. The ATF Dingo armored vehicle is air transportable - it can be transported by heavy helicopters, light and medium military transport aircraft. The model is built from a Revell kit, scale 1:35, and wears desert camouflage, typical of the German contingent in Afghanistan. The model is painted with AMMO acrylic, weathering effects (dirt, dust, abrasions, chips, rust, etc.) are imitated by products from AK Interactive, AMMO, MIG. Notice how the dust is washed away from the windshield by the wipers; this effect is achieved by spraying through a stencil. The model has a fully painted interior, although it is not particularly visible through the glass.
