Sopwith 11/2-Strutter - fighter of the Royal Flying corps (RFC) in the First World war. The aircraft is designed and built by Sopwith Aviation Co. "in 1915 and since February, 1916 serial production began. The first aircraft entered the Royal Naval aviation service (RNAS), where they were used as scouts and fighters. In addition, RNAS used Sopwith 1 1/2-Strutter to patrol the coast and as a deck-based aircraft. Sopwith 1 1/2-Strutter were built in the UK (1479 aircraft), as well as under license in France (4500 aircraft), Russia and Holland.
