Nieuport 16C is a single-seat French fighter of the First World war. The aircraft was designed and built by the French company "Societe Anonyme des Establishment Nieuport" at the beginning of 1916 the Aircraft was a further development of the Nieuport 11. In may of 1916, Russia had established licensed manufacturing in factories of the company "Dux" in Moscow. The total number of aircraft produced (type 11 and 16) - more than 1200 PCs. In Italy - 650 PCs. In Russia made about 100 PCs.
