PV-1 Ventura was used as a marine patrol aircraft, scout, bomber, torpedo. PV-1 Ventura - military version of the passenger aircraft Lockheed L-18. The main production aircraft was released in the summer of 1941. the PV-1 Ventura was in service with the United States, great Britain, Canada, the South African Union, France, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil. It was used for patrolling in the Atlantic and Mediterranean, and especially active in the fighting in the Pacific ocean. On weapons PV-1 Ventura stood until the early 50's.
