Turboprop aircraft for regional airlines Bombardier Dash 8-100 (Bombardier dash 8-100) was developed by the canadian company "De Havilland Canada" (De Haviland Canada) in 1983 year and first had the designation DHC-8-100.
the Aircraft was designed primarily to serve small airports in the United States and Canada. However, the successful design allowed the regional liner to gain popularity around the world and develop into a whole family of Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft.
In 1995, the design of the Dash-8-100 aircraft was improved by installing more powerful engines, which allowed to increase the speed and range of flight, as well as improve take-off characteristics. The updated aircraft was designated Bombardier Dash 8-Q200. Added to the name the letter Q (from the word Quiet) reflected the low level of noise in the cabin due to the introduction of a new system of active noise absorption and vibration reduction.
