the A220 Airbus Family consists of two basic models: the A220-100 (formerly CS100) with a capacity of 99 to 125 passengers and the A220-300 (formerly CS300) with layouts from 120 to 150 seats. Each of these models has modifications with increased range (A220-100ER and A220-300ER). Composite materials are widely used in the design of aircraft. Increased comfort for passengers is provided by seats of increased width, high ceilings in the cabin, large Luggage shelves and large portholes in front of each seat.
the First flight of the CS100 took place on September 16, 2013, in February 2015, the CS300 took off. The commercial operation of the CS100 began in 2015, and the CS300 in 2016. In July 2018, after the purchase of the control share of the CS program by the European Airbus, it was announced that the name of the aircraft was changed to A220-100 and A220-300, respectively.
