the Famous Soviet aircraft designer Yakovlev has always adhered to the concept of light aircraft. In may 1945, Yakovlev began work on the creation of a training, two-seater Yak-18, to replace the earlier UT-2 and Yak-15. The plane took off a year later, with a radial, five-cylinder engine M-11 design Shvetsov. The design provided ease of Assembly and reliability, the aircraft is produced to this day in many (including four) versions. Widely used in China and other countries.
