Mark IV can be called "the first OBT". About 1200 tanks were built, they participated in most battles on the Western front from the early summer of 1917 until the end of the war, also used in the Middle East. Mark IV is the first tank built using the experience of previous projects, the first tank used massively, in battles really planned around armored vehicles. Mark IV female (female) was armed with five machine guns.
