theTank Recovery T-2 was an armored tank made by a modification of the m-3 Lee Medium Tank chassis. The designation T-2 was later changed to M-31. The t-2 refrigerator truck tower (M31) has a Gar Wood crane with a capacity of 10,000 to 30,000 pounds depending on how the supports are deployed. Inside the body is also installed 30-ton winch, which can work with its cable over the crane boom or catch directly on the load. The machine gun on the M3 Lee 75 mm was replaced by a hatch with a dummy gun mounted to obscure the identity of the car. T-2 (M31) also mounted two 0.30 cal. M1919 Machine Guns.
