the Concept of "Jagdpanzer" was popular in the latter half of the Second world war, the creation of self-propelled guns was easier and faster than the standard tanks with the tower. Jagdpanzer IV was planned to be equipped with a 75 mm gun PaK42 L/70, but due to the shortage of this weapon had to use the 7.5 cm PaK39 L/48. A shorter and less powerful gun has become a typical weapon of this series. Jagdpanzer IV was built on the Panzer IV chassis. This 25-ton machine is loved by the crew, it was especially effective in defensive battles, typical of the last stages of the war.
