Additional Information
the Legendary T-34, is the most massive tank of world war II. Of course, achieving so impressive number of combat machines could not be achieved only one plant. The t-34 was collected in the Ural, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, and finally at the Gorky plant number 112 "Red Sormovo". Plant № 112 was engaged in shipbuilding and had no experience in the construction of such machines, the deployment of mass production of "thirty" was a forced measure. Despite all the difficulties, the first T-34 was manufactured in the autumn of 1941, and 173 tanks were built in 1941. The profile of the enterprise, the lack of specialists and interruptions in supplies affected the quality of products, the tanks of the Gorky plant of early production were considered "second-rate", they were treated coldly by tankers. Since the spring of 1943, the 112 plant has been actively implementing improvements, by the autumn of the same year, the quality of the Assembly of the structure and chassis are significantly improved. As a result, the tanks of the plant №112 "Red Sormovo" took a worthy place in the row of "thirty", during the production of the plant built 6276 tanks.
