the AT-P was originally developed as an artillery tractor for 85mm field guns and 100mm field guns in the Soviet Union in the early 1950s. In most countries of the former Soviet bloc, it was replaced by MT-LB. The AT-P consists mainly of an armored box on the tracks, with the driver on the front left and the machine gunner on the front right. The rear-mounted at-P engine is a ZIL-123f petrol engine having an output of only 110 horsepower, so the AT-P is a light vehicle.
