Development of super heavy tank E-100 started in June 1943. By 1944, when Hitler ordered to stop all operations to develop the superpack, Adler had partially built a prototype, but it was never completed. the Remnants fell into allied hands in April 1945 and were subsequently transferred to the British army, eventually dismantled for scrap.
