Panzerkampfwagen 38 fuer 2 cm Flak 38 (Flakpanzer 38(t)) — German ZSU (anti-aircraft self-propelled gun) during the Second world war. The official name of the unit is "2 cm Flak auf Selbstfahrlafette 38 (t)" or Sd.Kfz.140, code designation — "313". The official name "Cheetah" rarely used (under this name is more known modern anti-aircraft self-propelled gun, which was in service with the Bundeswehr). The PZ Kpfw 38(t) was used as the chassis. This self-propelled gun on the departmental designation system of armored vehicles was held under The SD index.Kfz.140. Developed by B. M. M. ZSU was produced from November 1943 to February 1944. During the period of mass production 141 self-propelled anti-aircraft guns of this type were produced. In 1944-1945 SD.Kfz.140 actively used on the Western front and in Italy, showing good results against low-flying aircraft.
