Il-2 - the most massive Soviet combat aircraft of the great Patriotic war. Serial production of IL-2 began in late 1940, Il-2 M3 - the last serial modification of the famous attack aircraft. Version it featured uprated engines, increased wing sweep, new canopy arrow. Il-2 M3 - were the main striking force of the front-line aviation of the red army air force at the final stage of the war. In total, 36163 attack aircraft of all modifications were produced.
