"Avro Shackleton" (Avro Shackleton) - and anti-submarine aircraft. Developed by Avro on the basis of the Avro Lincoln heavy bomber (an improved model of the famous Avro Lancaster bomber of world war II) in 1950. Entered service with the British air force and South Africa in the 50s. In the early 70s, they were replaced by Nimrod patrol jets.
