De Havilland DH.100 Vampire became the second jet aircraft put into service in the RAF (the first was the Gloster Meteor). He made his first flight in 1943. Included in the British air force during the war, although participation in hostilities did not take. In numerous modifications continued to serve until 1955, after which it was used as a training until 1966. "Vampire" was exported to about 30 countries. More than 4,300 vehicles were produced.
