the F-100 was the first supersonic aircraft of the U.S. air force. Flight of the prototype took place on may 25, 1953, serial aircraft was assembled in October 1953. Super Sabre was the first fighter to overcome the speed of sound, it happened on October 29, 1953, during a test flight. By the end of the release, in 1959, 2 294 aircraft were produced. Modification of the F-100D had a number of changes, such as increased wings, autopilot, electronic equipment, additional fuel tanks, etc. During the development of the aircraft, special attention was paid to the ergonomics of the cockpit and the convenience of piloting. The aircraft had fully automatic air conditioning, pressure maintenance and fuel supply systems.
