the self-Propelled heavy infantry gun "Sturmpanzer II" was developed on the basis of the extended and extended chassis of the light tank T-II in the summer of 1941. the Machine was armed with a 150-mm gun s.I.G.33. The fighting compartment in front and on the sides was protected by 15 mm armor. A total of 12 such units were assembled, which took part in the battles in North Africa until the spring of 1943.
