BT-7 tank is based on BT-5. It changed the configuration of the body and improved armor protection. Some of the joints of armor plates were welded. BT-7 tanks took part in all the military conflicts of the Soviet Union before the great Patriotic war and in its initial period. The later version of the BT-7 tank of the 1935 model differed from the early increase in firepower, due to the addition of a stern machine gun DT 7.62 mm and an anti-aircraft gun P-40.
