One of the most successful light tanks of the Second World war. Developed on its own initiative by Vickers in 1938, it was mass-Produced from 1940 until early 1944. 8275 tanks were produced ( including 1420 in Canada). It was widely used by the British army, especially in North Africa.
2394 English and 1388 canadian Valentines were delivered To the Soviet Union. In the red army tanks were used in tank formations of mixed composition. On the Soviet-German front "Valentine" fought until may 1945.
