Artillery tractor "Comintern" is based on the chassis of the T-12 and later T-24 (from 1935 to 1941 was built 2,000 copies), was equipped with 131 HP engine. Despite the sad fate of its predecessors, the tractor was more successful and was produced EN masse. Of course, the Comintern inherited some of the shortcomings of the T-24, but some of them were smoothed out by the designers, while others were considered not so significant in that extremely difficult period. The tractor was used to transport medium artillery such as the 152mm howitzer ML-20.
