Gannet is a British anti-submarine aircraft. Designed and manufactured by Fairey Aviation Company. It was operated from 1953 to 1978. Operators - British Navy, Australia, Indonesia, Germany.
As a power plant used dual theater Double Matra (two theater Armstrong Siddley Matra, located next), working through a common transmission on coaxial four-blade screws. One of the engines could be turned off in flight to save fuel.
