Il-2 - the most massive Soviet combat aircraft of the great Patriotic war. Serial production of Il aircraft began in late 1940. During the war, designers continuously improved Il-2, increased its firepower. In 1942, Under the wings of Il-2 installed large-caliber air guns NS-37.
