Chinese fighter J-7B was made on the basis of J-7A, first flew on December 30, 1978. The most important difference is the WP-7B engine and a new generation ejection system. The new engine has not only more power, but also increased service life. Ejection seat was installed in 1984, and soon, in the same year was made five successful tests. In addition, other changes were made, such as the addition of an additional fuel tank.
