British medium tank Mk.A Whippet (Greyhound) was designed to bring mobility to existing tank forces and to destroy the remnants of enemy forces on the battlefield. The tank, weighing 14 tons had a crew of three, a length of 6.1 m and width 2.6. Two engines, each of which drove a separate caterpillar, allowed to reach a maximum speed of 13.4 km/h. In the angular superstructure housed four machine guns Hotchkiss. A total of 200 Mk was built.A Whippet. The tank was first used in March 1918, after the first world war the tank continued to be used in Ireland and Russia. The Imperial Japanese army ordered 6 tanks.
