"Grad" is a 122-mm multiple launch rocket system produced by the USSR. It is designed to destroy open and sheltered personnel, unarmored equipment and armored personnel carriers in the area of concentration, artillery and mortar batteries, command posts and other purposes. It was taken into service in 1963. The upgraded version of the BM-21 "Grad" is made on the basis of the truck Ural-4320 high cross-country. It has an automated guidance and fire control system, training and start-up equipment, as well as a satellite navigation system. MLRS "Grad" at the moment, is the most common car in this class. Also engaged in the production of "Grad" China, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Romania and South Africa. Today, grad MLRS are in service in more than 30 countries around the world.
