Fairey Barracuda II is a carrier-based torpedo bomber. The prototype made its first flight in December 1940. Serial production - from may 1942. Since November 1943. Barracuda is used with aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean sea, then in the Indian and Pacific oceans. Summer 1944. these aircraft took part in a series of raids on the battleship
"tirpicz". Just until the end of 1947. 2572 aircraft were produced. The armament consisted of up to 1953.
