Special forces (WON) of different countries prefer to use wheeled vehicles with high maneuverability. Russian WON is no exception. After the Chechen wars and the armed conflict in South Ossetia, the requirements of the Russian WON to wheeled vehicles are different from those of the West. The Russian car GUS 233115 "Tiger-M" is developed by order of the Russian Ministry of defence for divisions of special troops of Russian armed forces on the basis of the modernized STS "Tiger". The machine installed new otechestvenny diesel engine with turbocharging and intermediate air cooling YAMZ 5347-10.
