Being a modification of the T-72 TANK, the E-72B3 replaced the older T-72, and became the main addition to the OBT of the T-90 family. Over the years, Russian tanks E-72B3 actively participated in various military exercises, parades. In 2015 and 2016, twice participated in the military sports games "Tank biathlon", and competed with the Chinese tank ZTZ-96A.
